Vocalist Cheryl Albright and piano accompanist Rod Luther performed marvelously on 4/27/13. Over 150 people came to the Operatic Event of the year, filling Congdon Street Baptist Chruch.
Tea with Sissieretta was an elegant event that taught our young ladies the art of etiquette. It also served as a fundraiser to help pay for the restoration of Sissieretta Jones' authentic silk performance gown from the 1890's. We are still shy of our goal, so please make a contribution by clicking the "Donation" tab and help preserve this irreplaceable piece of Black History.
